International Inter-varsities Chess Championship past half way mark
Past the halfway mark of the GACC tournament, 5th seed Iranian Amin Nasri is the sole leader after defeating FM Adrian Susliodinata of Indonesia in the 5th round. Following closely behind is Amin’s compatriat GM Amir Bagheri and R Premnath of India with 4.5 points.
Sharing 5th to 10th placing are Shojate Ghane, Morteza Darban, Chan Tze Wei, John Ranel Morazo, Pok Wern Jian and Zarul Shazwan Zulkifli each with 4 points.
